“I'm very privileged to work with him,” says Dingdong Dantes about his experience working with actor John Arcilla in 'A Hard Day.'
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared his wonderful experience working with veteran actor John Arcilla in their latest action-thriller film titled A Hard Day, which earned a spot in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2021.
During the recent digital media conference for A Hard Day, a member of the press asked about the award-winning actor's experience in the movie, especially working with the Volpi Cup awardee.
“Dito talagang day one hanggang dulo e talagang hardcore action po siya,” he shared.
According to Dingdong, working with the veteran actor made his experience more worth it due to the latter's acting prowess.
“Kung ma-e-experience ko man ito, saan pa ba kung hindi kasama si Ginoong John Arcilla. Hindi ba parang it made the experience really more worth it dahil talagang kapag nag-in character siya sobrang nakakatakot because that's how much he imbibes his role,” he said.
The renowned actor also mentioned that he's very honored and privileged to have worked with John.
He added, “Whenever he wears his character, kumbaga kung hindi ka napapa-action, mapapa-action ka talaga e dahil sa husay talaga niya. That's why I'm very privileged to work with him.”
A Hard Day is a Philippine adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film that follows the story of a detective who accidentally runs over a man and hides the dead body inside his mother's coffin.
